Highlights from the Terms and Conditions of William Hill Bingo
The Terms and Conditions page of William Hill bingo’s website contains the full information which a player could possibly need in order to execute his well-informed decision to participate in bingo games. In this article, I have highlighted some of the main topics that on my opinion, deserve to be reviewed once more in order to be more confident and relaxed when you proceed with the registration and playing.
You should know that the information placed below is written in accordance with William Hill bingo Terms and conditions as last amended on the 15th of February 2016. If you’re aware of that a newer version of the T&C’s is now available, if you would like to get in touch with me in order to ask me some questions, if you would like to give me some useful suggestions or just want to share some thoughts with me in regards to this article, please feel free to contact me at info@bestbingosites.co.uk .
Please have in mind that this T&C review article shall not be accepted as a legal advice. This is just my way of expressing my opinion on a particular topic with you.
Content of the William Hill Bingo’s Terms of Use
The Terms & Conditions of William Hill Bingo are divided into 35 points, together with the 9 points of the Playtech’s end-user licence agreement. All of them are structured and written in a very user-friendly manner, so the players shall have no problems with receiving the essential information. The only thing that is kind of annoying is the fact that the Terms and conditions info appears in a separate window, which is small and you do not have the option to maximise it and get it in full screen. Of course, that’s not a huge problem, but considering the high standards of everything that is done by William hill, I believe this one deserves improvement.
Below I have listed all of the T&C and end-user agreement points together with my comments of some of them, that I have found important.
1Introduction: Key Definitions and What Makes up Your Terms of Use
2Contracting parties
3Changes to the terms of use
4Opening your account
5Verification of Your Identity; Money Laundering Requirement
6Username, password, pin and customer information
.6.2 All transactions made where Your username and password and/or account number have been entered correctly will be regarded as valid, whether or not authorised by You, and we shall not be liable for any claims in the event that You disclose Your username, password or account number to anyone else (whether deliberately or accidentally)..
Comment: It is highly recommended not to lose an eye on your access device when your account open. All deposits, withdrawals and transactions at all will be accepted as valid ones no matter technically made by you or somebody else. You shall not permit under any circumstances the usage of your gaming account by anybody else. Not to mention is forbidden by law to allow or tolerate underage to use your account.
7Deposits and withdrawals from your account
.7.6 You can set a deposit limit on Your Account in any one day. This limit cannot be increased without giving us twenty-four hours’ notice of Your wish to increase Your deposit limit and only when twenty-four hours have elapsed from Your request for such an increase will the increase apply. For details of how to set up a deposit limit please contact Customer Services, or (where Your Account is for the Website) set up the limit through the Website by clicking on My Account, then Update Account Details. Any confirmed reductions to your deposit limit will be of immediate effect..
Comment: Unlike Spain, where the daily and monthly limits are set by law, in the UK every player may fix the limit of bets and deposits upon their sole discretion. If for any reason you would like to increase the limit, you should wait for a 24 hours after the submission of the notice. That’s just for your own safety so you don’t take any risky or emotional decisions. Be careful when choosing a limit! It’s good to always have in mind that you should accept the participation in bingo games as a way to entertain yourself – to have some fun, but not resolve financial or other personal issues of any kind.
